There are many ways fo buying a new vehicle from the traditional mehtods of Outright Purchase, Hire Purchase to the new and wiser options of Personal Contract Purchase, Contract Hire and finance lease. The new ways of leasing vehicles take advantage of the future value or residual value your vehicle therefore lowering the actual amount that has to be financed by you the driver.

For example : -

If a car is worth £30000 at the start of its life and after a period of 3 years with an average mileage of 10k per annum the future value is set to be £10000.
