Peugeot have toyed with the idea of electrically powered vehicles for years. Back in the 1990s they were working on adding electrically powered elements to vehicles such as the 106 and Citroen berlingo. So its no surprise that in this modern age they have created a fully electric vehicle.
The iOn is the ideal car for drivers looking for a nippy and slightlyquirky down dwelling vehicle. With a charging time of seven hours from a standard socket, the iOn uses a 66 bhp electric motor which draws its power from lithium-ion batteries. Theres bags of equipment available here, with the iOn getting tinted rear windows, automatic lights, alloy wheels, and front fog lights along with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, climate control and heated driver’s seat.
