The BMW X3 is the middle ground of BMWs SUV range. As with previous models the current X3 sports a brilliantly designed exterior, comfortable and well made interior along with competitively low running costs. One important aspect to note is that the X3 is not currently available with a petrol engine, so as long as you’re happy with a diesel engine, lets dive in.
Firstly lets take a brief look at the cars performance and driving. If you were to opt for a lease on the 2.0 litre you’ll be pleased as you dont have to push the engine hard to make any progress. This is the opposite of a lot of smaller engine SUVs whee you have to work them very hard. Going for a larger engine and your pulling power is increased. All these engines are available with a manual gear box or an eight speed automatic alternative. In terms of the ride comfort of the BMW X3 most trims youll be perfectly happy and feel as though you can glide over most imperfections in the road with ease. The only trim where this differs substantially is the M sport trim, where the ride is stiffened, if you’re opting for the M sport trim you probably are expecting this anyway.
Steering through corners is pleasingly accurate and you’ll feel in control even going round corners at higher speed. This is thanks to the well balanced body of the BMW X3.
Looking at the interior of the car, visibility is pretty good all throughout the car thanks to the high seating position and can be made better by playing with your seating position via the adjustable seating options. its not only the seats that feel comfortable in the X3, all the dashboard controls feel sensibly set out and are within reach at all times.
In terms of your interior features and infotainment system, the exact spec you get can make a difference but as is the norm with this premium brand, all are well equip from the SE trim right up to the top level spec.
As the middle ground in both price and size, the BMW X3 feels spacious throughout, giving both front and rear passengers enough room to be comfortable on long journeys. Our current BMW X3 lease deals are a great option for your next vehicle.
